Backup and pCloud

Backup encrypts on your device. The recovery key never leaves you, so Alix cannot read the files, even if asked. If you lose that key, we cannot recover the data. Your backups are stored in Switzerland. Free is 100 MB with no card. Starter is $1.99 a year for 5 GB, Plus $9.99 for 30 GB, Pro $24.99 for 75 GB, Max $99 for 300 GB, and Ultra $299 for 1 TB, all yearly. Paid checkout says Coming soon. A computer connects with an agent, a command-line client, or MCP. The agent can add backups and cannot read or delete them.

pCloud's yearly pricing page lists Premium at 49.99 EUR a year for 500 GB, Premium Plus at 99.99 EUR a year for 2 TB, and Ultra at 299.99 EUR a year for 10 TB. The lifetime view of that page lists 199 USD for 500 GB, 399 USD for 2 TB, and 1190 USD for 10 TB. Help text says a free account is 10 GB and that a lifetime payment lasts 99 years or the account holder's life, whichever is shorter.

The pricing page describes TLS and 256-bit AES and says files are stored under Swiss privacy law. It does not say whether pCloud can read the files. That point is not stated here.
